I agree with you!

Although no one said that in my face before, I can sense that some of them thought that way.

Never give up! Never surrender (to the despicable criticism of the inferiors)! Btw, the original quote was from the movie "Galaxy Quest". :)

If I had people telling me "You will never make it." I would tell them THANK YOU. Cos I am sure they will be watching me when I make it!

I have also come across inspiring personalities on Youtube and Revver. They always say THANK YOU even when people have insulted them openly! That may sound stupid at first but it's a graceful action, no one can say you did wrong!

Have you heard of the "meditation technique" the late Napolean Hill taught? For several minutes daily, he closed himself in a dark room and envision himself doing things. He got nearer and nearer to what he wanted, and achieved. Eventually becoming foster parents (with his wife) to orphans and helping people to succeed the way he did.

Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Mark Joyner and a lot of other well-respected gurus are 'followers' of Napolean Hill.

BTW, I like the authentic Indian background music in your video! A proof that Indian music are not just for Indian movies!

Hi Maynas,
just recently took to reading your blog. I feel that it is great that you are breaking away from all the negativity in your life ( esp the people who talk you down and gloat over your misfortunes and you being depressed). The superiority/ inferiority game that I see a lot of people playing around me ruffles me sometimes. I put it down to these people being jealous/envious of your current success and it being time for me to depart from them and their toxicity in order for me to grow and achieve my own dreams/desires. If I cling on to them and the hurt and feed on the toxins that they release it would only be hampering myself and doing myself a great disservice.

<abbr><em>Dominique’s last blog post..<a href="http://dominiquegoh.com/2008/12/merry-xmas/" rel="nofollow">Merry Xmas</a></abbr></em>

Oh my goodness! Thank you for sharing an incredible video. I think most people can empathize with the message you have shared. We never admit it publicly, and stuff the hurt deep down inside us.

I, too, have a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat after having watched your video. You are so very brave for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I applaud you, and I thank you!

See you on Twitter.

Bless your heart.

Thank you for sharing something so deeply personal to you.

More then likely most of the people reading this blog, those walking the creative edge, have heard similar comments time and again.

Some say Nay and some say Yay. Tis the way of the world.

In the end, if you live your life in harmony with your deepest aspirations, what others say begins to fade in importance because few take the time to really walk in another's shoes before giving advice.

Live your life from the inside out and Magic does indeed Happen.

Thank you for being such a model to us all.

Blessings

When I graduated from a tiny high school (75 students) in Idaho, the guidance counselor told me that I ought to go to a junior college, that I didn't much chance to make it in a large university. I was determined to prove him wrong when I enrolled in Brigham Young University (25,000 students at that time). I took 18.5 credit hours and got all A's except a B+ in social dance. I felt vindicated!
