People do not want to be Millionaires, what they want is
People don’t want to be millionaires, what they want is to experience what they believe that only millions of dollars can buy. Posh cars with their own chauffeurs , luxury house with maids, vacations to exotic places and a life of doing nothing but shopping, TV and sleeping (Yes, I have said it. The things people don’t say but are bursting to have) Not practical? Some might say, but it certainly sounds nice.
The fantasy isn’t not about having a million in your bank, it’s just a figure and way to keep track of your financial skills and habits. The fantasy is the lifestyle that gives complete freedom to choose whatever you want to do when you want to do it, to have whatever you want when you see it, to relax whenever you want when you feel like it, to spend quality time with your family instead of dinner followed up by a short 3 hours of get together everyday after coming back from work.
Alas, the truth is revealed.
What people really want are millionaire lifestyles, that is why they want to be millionaires in the first place. The real question is not, “How do I become a millionaire?”, the question now becomes, “How can you live a million dollar lifestyle without the millions.” You might be surprised at how close reality is to your fantasy.

Interesting.
I could care less about the “lifestyle”. I’m not out to impress anyone. I simply want to be able to care for family and friends and help them with their needs, which are usually beyond materialistic.
If the “lifestyle” includes having time, then sure. You got it.
But, I don’t wear a watch or a ring….I’m comfy in t-shirt & jeans – always will be.
