Do We Think Alike?

Once you admit life that life is difficult, then it no longer matters about barriers we will sometimes meet in life, what matters is to make better choices when we come across them. Some people have thought that the best way to live is to abide their whole life by their principles and never yielding away from them. Inflexible in the choices they make to different situations, but that only applies if we are the same person…isn’t it?

Life changes…people change…we change…we know that but seldom admit. Who you were back ten years ago and today is bound to have some vast differences in personality, character and temperament, ten years from now, you would almost certainly be another person…life changes..people change either for the better or worst whether we know it or not, like it or not, life changes…but some things don’t change much…the principles in which we live our lives.

For me, there are some things I always try to follow to the best of my ability. I flipped back my journals of more than a decade old and found these principles which I have written long ago. Though I can’t remember if they are from somewhere else or created by me, I find them pretty similar to what I believe in. How about you? Are we similar in some ways in the manner we think we should live our lives? Which ones do you agree with me on?

How to live my life

  1. Seek not Fame, but acknowledgement of self and others that your creation is worthy
  2. Seek not Wealth, but the ability to gather resources to make worthy things happen
  3. Seek not Power, but the ability to get people together to make meaningful things happen
  4. Seek Fame if you have a worthy message to spread
  5. Wealth Creators be proud, not guilty of your ability
  6. Be Powerful not to bully, but to make things much better than before not because you think you can but because you know you can and already know how
  7. Accept no laziness, but to achieve more or better results with less work or efforts. Often be unreasonable but realistically so.
  8. Love not love, but the ability to make another person feel loved and the joy of receiving love from the same person
  9. Love not because of lack, but choose the most compatible love among the abundance that enriches instead of drains the spirit
  10. You may lose some battles but make sure you win the war as fast as you could with as little resources as possible
  11. Strive to live a fulfilling life because a life without purpose is just a shadow with without colours, appearing solid but hollow inside. (Thank you Pieter!)
  12. The days you know that you are always ready to live life to its fullest as well as always ready to breathe your last without regrets, those are great times to create your greatest works and accomplish your greatest achievements. Regardless of what you can do, remember to keep on living.

Nice post! Compliments for the site again, such philosophy should be embedded in more people.

One remark on point 11 though: I think you forgot something there! ;-)

(hint: with colours -> without colours ;-) )

    Best regards,
