I have always seen myself as an entrepreneur, not as an engineer or employee…but I didn’t realized until recently that it was not businesses that gave me the kicks during the day and keep me awake during late nights…it was the process of honing the skills and creating things, making them faster and better with smarter methods that pump me up…not just business but life itself.
I was then, no longer just an entrepreneur, I recognized myself as a LifeHacker.
For many years now, I have been quite disillusioned by my own thoughts that I am very interested in the subject of business. However, it struck me when I was having a usual chat with my friends over dinner that the topics I always have a part of being a part of was not just business…it was something more specific…it was about creating things and making things happen in a smoother, smarter, faster and better way than how they were usually done. That was when I realized…I have been someone all along…not just an engineer, not only an entrepreneur by name…I have always been a LifeHacker.
I would think that most self-founded LifeHackers do not operate in the same way as the next, I imagine that each of us work around things in our own different methods, a unique style of our own. It can be often felt by others but not easily explained. Though we are all different, we all work towards the same objective, to get things done in a faster and better way. The term, innovator is an understatement for most LifeHackers because LifeHackers don’t just innovate, it is a "Way of Life"
LifeHackers like me, live and breathe to work out better solutions. Our work is never over.
